Here in Florida, keeping our community and our environment clean means taking care of our waterways – the beautiful ocean, rivers, lakes, and more that surround us and are such a big part of our everyday lives. Our state relies on these waterways as a major tourist destination. Whether it’s the emerald coastline, a sparkling lake, or freshwater springs, a healthy environment is key to our overall economy and success in our profession.
That’s why Florida Realtors® holds the Clean Up Florida Waters event every July. This year the Ocala/Marion County Association of Realtors® teamed up with Stellar MLS to take part on July 20, when more than a dozen OMCAR members and Stellar employees spent the morning at Silver Springs State Park, clearing the grounds and flower beds.
Every effort makes a difference, and we’re proud to have done our small part in cleaning up. Together, we can ensure a cleaner and happier community of tomorrow.
